Job Description

Responsible for administrating all MES databases throughout Kemet global factories. Key responsibilities may include:

1) Install & maintain the configuration of the database objects

2) Manage database changes through change management process

3) Monitoring & tuning database performance to meet business needs

4) Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary & permanent resolution of incidents escalated

5) Conduct root cause analysis, implement pro-active measures, monitor effectiveness of implemented measures

6) Provide database access path related technical support & advice to MES development team; etc.

Qualifications

1) Good communication skill (both oral and written) in English.

2) Able to organize time & priorities and attentive to detail.

3) Proactive thinking & problem solving through systematic methodology.

4) Good team work.

Education / Experience Required

Education:

Bachelor degree (IAS,ISC,ISI,IIS,etc).

Experience required:

1) 2 years or more experience in Oracle/SQL Server Administration/Trouble shooting/Performance tuning/Backup-Restore

2) 2 years or more experience in database development with experience in Function/Procedure/Trigger/Sql/PL Sql

3) Experience with .NET language is an advantage

4) Experience with Oracle 8i/9i OCP is an advantage
